Kicking off of the celebration of its 75th year, Goshen Garden Club recently presented a check to support
Goshen 6th graders' approaching week at
"Nature's Classroom."  "This program fits so well with our club's
purpose--to encourage an appreciation of our natural environment," says past president Betty Cosgrove, who
initiated the project last fall.

At the end of March, Goshen Center School will send two 6th-grade classes for a five day learning experience in
Nature. Goshen students, along with hundreds of others, have participated in this special environmental
education program for a number of years. There are four Nature's Classroom sites in Connecticut; this year
Goshenites will attend at Camp Washington in Lakeside, CT.
