BRUSH HILL GARDENS on THURSDAY, JUNE 27TH. These highly-acclaimed gardens were created by Barbara Paul Robinson and her husband, Charles at their private home in Washington, CT. Barbara was the first woman partner at the law firm Debevoise & Plimpton; and served as the first woman president of the New York City Bar Association.
She worked in England as a gardener for Rosemary Verey at Barnsley House and then for Penelope Hobhouse at Tintinhull. She is a frequent speaker and has published articles in the New York Times, Horticulture, Fine Gardening and Hortus, as well as two of her own books.
