    “Gardens of Paris” presented by CeCe Haydock

    Ms. Haydock has a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from SUNY School of
    Environmental Science and Forestry. She is a member of the American Society of
    Landscape Architects and an officer of the ASLA national leadership sustainable
    group. CeCe is SITES, LEED and WEDG accredited and focuses on sustainability and
    green building.

    1:00pm Program “TROPICAL FOR THE CONNECTICUT GARDEN” presented by George Trecini

    Mr. Trecini has degrees in landscape design and landscape architecture. He has
    written articles for several prestigious publications including The Connecticut
    Gardener Magazine and The Old Farmer’s Almanac. He has served as a landscape
    display judge for the Connecticut Flower and Garden Show.

    • 1:00pm Program “Garden Jeopardy” presented by Renee Marsh. Marsh is an advanced Master gardener, garden designer, horticulturist and flower farmer. Her passion is to encourage, coach and teach everyone to garden and create healthy ecosystems. She is a former head gardener for the town of Monroe and co-founder of Hilltop Blooms – growers and sellers of unique perennials, shrubs and cut flowers.

    BRUSH HILL GARDENS on THURSDAY, JUNE 27TH.  These highly-acclaimed gardens were created by Barbara Paul Robinson and her husband, Charles at their private home in Washington, CT. Barbara was the first woman partner at the law firm Debevoise & Plimpton; and served as the first woman president of the New York City Bar Association.  

    She worked in England as a gardener for Rosemary Verey at Barnsley House and then for Penelope Hobhouse at Tintinhull.  She is a frequent speaker and has published articles in the New York Times, Horticulture, Fine Gardening and Hortus, as well as two of her own books.     Lorraine Ballato

    Lorraine is an expert horticulturist with many magazine articles, social media writings
    and books to her credit. She is an instructor at the New York Botanical Garden and
    in the Connecticut Master Gardener Program.
    The topic for this meeting will be “Home Grown Harvest”
    The lecture will begin at 1:00p.m. and non-members are welcome at $10 per person.

    Catherine Wolko “Pollinators & Their Effect on our Ecosystem”

    Catherine is a second generation Beekeeper and owner of The Humble Bee Honey
    Company and The Hive @ The Pin, a Farm Store and Honey House located in
    Oakville, Ct. She is a member of The Connecticut Farm Bureau, The American
    Beekeepng Federation and the Back Yard Beekeepers Association. She has spoken at
    local community schools and libraries, Symposiums and Land Trusts throughout
    Connecticut.

    The lecture will begin at 1:00p.m. and non-members are welcome at $10 per person.

    Andrea Candee MH, MSC is the speaker for our February meeting. She will present “The Healing Power of Herbs.” She specializes in chronic Lyme Disease and its viral co-infections. She is the author of Gentle Healing for Baby and Child (Simon & Schuster) and has been awarded the National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval. She also has a DVD: The Healing Kitchen.
